How does this work ?


All content is initially downloaded from IMDB and then converted into local static assets (.md and .jpg). I created this system to avoid relying on services like Letterboxd to remember which movies I've watched and keep everything locally.

What is the process to add a movie ?


To add a movie, all I have to do is run a Python script, input the movie's name and provide a rating on a scale of 0 to 5. The script then generates the .md files and downloads the .jpg files accordingly.

Can I get access to the script ?


Yes you can find it here (github). I’ll leave the how to incorporate that into your satic site as an exercise to the reader.
